Position Overview:
We are currently seeking two skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Assistants to join our growing pediatric therapy team. This role is perfect for a therapist who is creative, collaborative, and excited to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families. We are looking for certified occupational therapist assistant to join our afternoon practice in Davie. We are seeking another certified occupational therapy assistant for a private school in Margate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans for children with sensory, motor, cognitive, or developmental challenges
- Implement therapeutic activities that promote independence in daily living and play
- Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and our team of therapists (speech, physical, behavioral)
- Document evaluations, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with clinic and licensing standards
- Participate in team meetings, parent consultations, and interdisciplinary case discussions
- Help create a welcoming and playful clinic atmosphere that fosters learning and growth
