Job Overview
We are a licensed excavation and site work contractor based in Carmel, NY. We are in search of an excavation laborer to join our site work and excavation crews.
Responsibilities
- Assist operators with grading, trenching, and site prep
- Set grade stakes, read blueprints & plans as needed
- Install and maintain erosion control (silt fence, inlet protection)
- Manual digging, shoveling and material handling
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean job site
Requirements
- Prior excavation, construction, or landscaping experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Westchester, Dutchess, Putnam and Fairfield County
Full-time, year-round. Pay is based on experience.
