The Opportunity
Reporting to the eCommerce Fulfillment Manager, the eCommerce Fulfillment Supervisor is a self-motivated, performance driven individual who can execute and optimize the order fulfillment and shipping process from order inception through delivery to our customer.
You Will:
- Supervise day-today activities with responsibility for the safety, quality, performance, and team work
- Manage e-commerce delivery to ensure good delivery experience for online customers and control the delivery cost in the reasonable range
- Conduct the product replenishment in time to ensure the stock availability
- Ensure departmental requirements and expectations while creating an environment of teamwork, collaboration and open communication
- Ensure at all times a safe environment, working practices and document accidents/incidents timely
- Ensure items on the picking lists are matched with the products to be delivered
- Provide directions, supervision and training for warehouse and distribution staff in order to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Ensure all products are packaged and stored properly prior to delivery
- Ensure effective inter-departmental liaison and communication
- Track shipping metrics and utilize data to suggest strategies for continuous improvement and report to management
- Propose and implement improvements in equipment and current methods
- Conduct punch in time review daily and weekly to ensure pay accuracy.
- Work extended hours and holidays as needed including an expected arrival time for the customer
- Perform other duties with flexibility as assigned
You Should Have/Be:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably for chain retail stores or eCommerce such as receiving, storage and distribution will be an asset
- Able to lead by example and demonstrate good leadership in managing and motivating various shifts of warehousing personnel
- Must be detail-oriented and have a good sense in numbers
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
- Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays
- Good computer skills in MS Office
- Able to communicate in English, proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is advantageous
