Job Overview
We are a licensed home daycare providing a high level of stimulating development and warm nurturant care for Infants/toddlers/preschoolers with age-appropriate curriculum. We are seeking someone with experience that has done lesson planning with toddlers and preschoolers.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood development, including literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and Montessori-inspired activities.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social interaction among toddlers.
- Manage daily classroom routines such as circle time, free play, snack time, naps, and outdoor activities with enthusiasm and structure.
- Use effective behavior management strategies to guide positive social interactions and resolve conflicts compassionately.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, milestones, and any developmental concerns while fostering strong partnerships.
- Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s development progress and prepare reports aligned with standardized testing where applicable.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with toddlers or in early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and childcare best practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education or literacy activities for young children.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
