Dental Hygienist or Dental Assistant (depending on level of experience)
Location: Natural Smiles Dental Center, Reston, VA
Hours: Full-time preferred for Dental Assistant working alongside the Doctor. Full-time or part-time available for experienced Dental Hygienist who can work more independently.
Office hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Overview: As a Dental Hygienist or Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive top-quality oral health care. Your primary focus will be on promoting good oral hygiene practices and conducting preventive dental treatments to enhance the overall well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and screenings to assess oral health - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants
- Assist the dentist with procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Uphold infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care Skills:
- Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques
- Experience in endodontics and pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to interpret medical terminology
- Knowledge of prosthodontics and vital signs monitoring

Dental Assistant Pay: $20 - $24 per hour, depending on experience.
Dental Hygienist Pay: $25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience.
