Life Landscaping, Inc. is a rapidly growing behavioral health organization dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to adults with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. We are currently seeking skilled and mission-driven therapists to join our multidisciplinary team at our Los Angeles–based PHP and IOP treatment facility in Culver City.
We welcome applications from licensed and associate clinicians who are passionate about working with moderate to high-acuity clinical presentations and thrive in a structured, team-oriented treatment setting.
Competencies:
- Experience with mental health and/or substance abuse populations/experience in dual diagnosis.
- Comfortable facilitating groups, in addition to conducting individual therapy sessions.
- Training in evidence-based practices.
- Desire to participate as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity of clients and staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage client care, and maintain facility standards.
- Desire to assist those with mental health and substance abuse concerns.
- Ability to manage screening, assessment, individualized treatment planning, crisis intervention, group and individual counseling, case management, referral, discharge summaries, clinical documentation, and professional ethics.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, supervisors, utilization reviewers, therapists, and medical and operational professionals.
- Ability to positively interact and develop rapport with clients and their families.
- Ability to develop systems and methodologies for continuous improvement of program and treatment modalities.
- Understanding of diverse cultures and gender-specific issues and ability to incorporate needs of gender and culturally diverse groups into the practice setting.
Qualifications:
- LMFT/AMFT, LCSW/ACSW (Must have complete supervised hours by LCSW elsewhere) or LPCC/APCC.
- Preferred experience in dual diagnosis.
- Must be comfortable facilitating both MH and SA groups, in addition to conducting individual therapy sessions.
Experience:
- Computer Skills.
- Computer Literacy in electronic medical records and email.
Please note: Pay scale is determined by license or associate status and whether or not supervision is required.
