Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople in the construction process, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and cleaning job sites.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and prepare them for use on-site.
- Help with the assembly of structures or installations as directed by supervisors.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately.
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on-site.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
