Cannabis Cultivation Sanitation Associate
Sky High Gardens is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our cultivation team with a focus on janitorial work, facility sanitation, and grow room cleanliness.
This role is essential to the success of our cultivation program. Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary facility helps protect plant health, support production quality, and prevent issues before they occur. The ideal candidate takes pride in doing detailed cleaning work, is reliable and punctual, and understands that consistency matters.
This is a hands-on, labor-intensive position. While this role is cultivation-adjacent, the primary focus is cleaning, sanitation, and facility support rather than plant work. Some cultivation assistance may be included depending on team needs.

Cannabis Cultivation Sanitation Associate
Responsibilities
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning grow rooms, hallways, work areas, and shared facility spaces
- Assisting with post-harvest room cleaning and reset
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and disinfecting surfaces
- Cleaning trays, tables, floors, walls, tools, and equipment
- Supporting sanitation practices related to pest and mildew prevention
- Removing plant waste and assisting with waste destruction
- Organizing supplies and maintaining clean work areas
- Assisting cultivation staff with basic labor tasks as needed
- Following sanitation procedures and checklists
- Reporting facility cleanliness or maintenance concerns to management
- Helping maintain a professional, safe, and productive cultivation environment
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to work hard
- Comfortable performing repetitive cleaning and physical labor
- Ability to follow instructions and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds on a regular basis
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Valid Washington State driver’s license, or ability to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications
- Janitorial, sanitation, housekeeping, or facility maintenance experience
- Experience working in agriculture, horticulture, cannabis, or production environments
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, checklists, and basic safety practices
- Interest in cannabis cultivation and plant health

Compensation
In addition to hourly pay, we offer an incentive program that provides bonuses to staff members based on target cultivation metrics.
