P.S. 297K and P.S. 016K are seeking a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to support their respective AIMs (Autism Intervention and Management Services) programs. This full-time position splits time between both Brooklyn campuses, providing behavioral consultation, direct support, and staff training across two dedicated AIMs classrooms serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The BCBA in this role works closely with classroom teachers, SLPs, paraprofessionals, and school leadership to develop and implement individualized behavior support plans and ensure a consistent, evidence-based approach to student well-being and learning across both sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with school building leaders and the AIMS team to continually increase the capacity of AIMS teachers through new staff training, ongoing professional development and on-site consultation.
- Act as a liaison to the AIMS Support Project consultants and DOE Central Team. Help the advancement of the AIMS program at both schools.
- Participate in consultation visits, including meeting with administration, conducting classroom visits, participating in AIMS Team meetings, and engaging in coaching sessions.
- Support School Building Leaders in increasing fidelity of implementation of the AIMS model– using standardized AIMS program documents and resources.
- Coordinate consultation support – coordinating consultations based on school and classroom needs.
- Regularly Meet with Grades K-5 AIMS team to determine appropriate supports for students.
- Able to Facilitate AIMS Workshops for Teachers, Parents and School Leaders
- Willing to participate in ongoing Professional Development as needed and offered in or beyond the DOE
Qualifications
- NYS Teaching License
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with school-age children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Strong background in functional behavior assessment, BIP development, and ABA methodology
- Strong skills and knowledge of AIMS classification and willingness to support teachers with implementing individualized supports for students.
- Familiar with various learning styles to ensure teachers implement particular techniques
- Able to develop, write and implement behavior intervention plan
- Able to establish data collection systems and measurement procedures
