Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently while maintaining a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive and provide a warm welcome.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, to manage orders and payments accurately.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Provide assistance to guests with inquiries or special requests, enhancing their dining experience.
- Uphold hospitality standards by ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries professionally.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus, particularly Aloha POS.
- A passion for providing excellent guest services in a restaurant or hotel setting.
