Temporary Position- Forklift - Standup Reach
Must have a valid Forklift Certification
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that shipping and receiving operations run smoothly, contributing to overall productivity and safety.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM (Temp assignment at least 60 days)
Pay: $19hr
Duties:
- Operate Forklifts, Standup Reach Crowns to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate order picking and inventory management.
- Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory and maintaining accurate records of materials handled.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper placement of goods.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy equipment.
Qualifications
******MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE******
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in materials handling and order picking.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid forklift certification is a must! willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Background and drug screening with THC will be conducted.
