- Design, deploy, and support scalable S3-compatible storage solutions across AWS S3, NetApp StorageGRID, and Dell ECS platforms
- Troubleshoot and optimize S3 interactions, performance issues, or integration problems across cloud and on-prem environments
- Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams to review application code, ensuring best practices for S3 usage, data durability, and security
- Create tooling and automation (Python, Go, or similar) to assist with storage analytics, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Drive architecture improvements and storage migration strategies based on customer needs and usage patterns
- Stay current with the S3 protocol ecosystem, SDK changes, and vendor-specific features (e.g., object locking, replication, metadata tagging)
- Support pre-sales efforts and provide guidance on best-fit object storage solutions for enterprise use cases
- 5+ years of experience with object storage technologies, including:
- AWS S3 (core concepts, SDKs, lifecycle rules, encryption, permissions)
- NetApp StorageGRID
- Dell EMC ECS
- Strong software development background, preferably in Python, Java, or Go
- Proven ability to dive into customer codebases, perform code reviews, and suggest improvements for S3 integrations
- Familiarity with S3-compatible APIs, custom integrations, and performance tuning
- Experience working with cloud-native application architectures, microservices, or containerized environments
- Solid understanding of networking, storage architectures, and data durability strategies
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-facing consulting mindset
- Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud object storage architectures
- Prior customer-facing or consulting experience
- Contributions to open-source S3-compatible tools or SDKs
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Understanding of compliance and security models for object storage (e.g., object locking, WORM, KMS integration
