The next head varsity flag football coach at CCDS will be expected to be a role model for students and build upon the strong tradition of CCDS athletics. Our varsity flag football coach will be expected to lead the program with character, class, and integrity and to develop a program that is consistent with the high standards of the Country Day community.
Position
Cincinnati Country Day School is seeking a head varsity flag football coach.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the director of athletics and associate director of athletics to manage all aspects of the flag football program
- Clearly communicate with players and families about expectations for being a member of the flag football team
- Lead a coaching staff that develops a positive culture that allows flag football players to develop and enjoy the game of flag football
- Plan practices to improve individual and team performance
- Collaborate with the athletic department to build a cohesive flag football program, from Middle School through Upper School
- Attend all practices and games
Qualifications
- All coaches must possess a Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) through the Ohio Department of Education. CCDS will reimburse costs of obtaining certificates and completing classes. PAP Requirements:
- Complete Coaches Tool Chest
- Background/fingerprint check (every five years after hire and any time requested by CCDS)
