Make a difference - The Center for Advancing Domestic Peace is seeking a part-time Bilingual Group Facilitator to join our compassionate and dedicated team. In this role, facilitators work with individuals who have perpetrated intimate partner violence, helping them develop healthier behaviors, communication techniques, and relationship skills. We welcome applications from both recent graduates and experienced professionals.
This position is based at our West Chicago location and involves co-facilitating intervention groups as part of a male/female co-facilitation team. We are currently seeking both male and female counselors. Ability to commute to our other office locations in Lombard, Summit or Chicago is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Co-facilitate partner abuse intervention groups of up to 15 participants
- Lead groups primarily during evening and weekend hours
- Complete required documentation, case notes, and reports in a timely manner
- Provide case management and participant support services
- Maintain professional, ethical, and trauma-informed practices
Wage negotiable based on experience and training, and references are required. Preference given to candidates who have already completed the required 40 hours of domestic violence counseling and 20 hours of partner abuse intervention training. However, training will be provided for eligible candidates.
Experience working with victims and/or perpetrators of domestic violence is very desirable. A social work or other counseling degree, or other relevant experience is required.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
