VibrantCare Rehabilitation is looking for an Entry Level Exercise Physiologist that is willing to travel throughout the Bay Area (Oakland, San Leandro, Castro Valley, Pinole), with occasional trips to San Carlos, Santa Cruz, Los Gatos assisting with patient physical therapy rehabilitation programs (Mileage reimbursement.) We are currently looking for an individual who is independent, reliable, a good communicate and a team player.
- Part time benefited position 32+ hours per week
- MUST be available M-F 8am-5pm This position could become FT in the future.
- MUST have experience in physical therapy, body mechanics/mobility etc. Ex. Personal Trainer, Physical Therapy, Athletic Training etc. Kinesiology or Exercise Science or other Health Science degree not enough.
Candidates should have the following:
- Enthusiasm, high energy and a good conversationalist- REQUIRED
- Organizing skills - REQUIRED
- Computer skills, especially MS Word & Excel - REQUIRED
- Current CPR certification required; employee is responsible for maintaining active certification for the duration of employment.
- Current tuberculosis (TB) test required; employee is responsible for maintaining in accordance with state guidelines for the duration of employment.
Responsible and accountable to assist the clinical team with development, coordination and administration of the WorkSite Solutions Programs as outlined in essential functions.
Essential Functions:
- Successfully develop, coordinate and implement the WorkSite Solutions Program. To include but not limited to:
- Assisting therapists with cute and Sub-acute rehab of injured workers
- Provide support to clinic and therapist for Work Conditioning
- Program kept up to date on State Work Comp Law and reimbursement
- Provide Pre-placement and Post-offer Screenings
- Provide Job Site Analysis
- Assist Clinical Operations Manager train, support and coach clinical staff to meet needs of the WorkSite Solutions Program noted above.
- Promote and maintain excellent customer relationships both internally and externally on all levels.
- Assist in orienting new VibrantCare team members involved in WorkSite Solutions Program
- Foster a positive and favorable image of VibrantCare through activities and correspondence with our WorkSite Solutions Customres and physicians.
- Ensure strong industrial, physician and payer relations and coordinate implementation of specialty programs as requested by the customer.
- Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
