Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Move Out Cleaner to efficiently prepare college dormitories for new residents. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of dorm rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and hallways, including dusting, surface cleaning, and floor care.
- Implement sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic living spaces.
- Conduct laundry services for bedding, towels, and other linens as needed, following proper handling protocols.
- Use manual handling techniques safely when moving furniture or heavy cleaning equipment to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness of carpets through vacuuming or specialized carpet cleaning methods; ensure all surfaces are spotless and sanitized.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned cleaning tasks within designated schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communicate professionally with residents or staff regarding cleaning needs or issues, providing excellent customer service in residential settings.
Experience
- Prior custodial or residential cleaning experience is preferred, especially in college dorms or similar environments.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners is advantageous.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures, including the use of various cleaning detergents and disinfectants.
- Experience with outdoor work or handling outdoor furniture and fixtures is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks comfortably throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
