What You’ll Do
As a Retail Security Agent, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety, security, and regulatory compliance of our dispensary while supporting the overall success of our retail operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine interior and exterior security patrols of the facility.
- Monitoring surveillance cameras and security systems to ensure continuous oversight.
- Ensuring all employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors follow established security and access control procedures.
- Monitoring entry and exit points while identifying and reporting suspicious activity.
- Assisting with cash security procedures, including ATM refills, register closeouts, reconciliations, and bank deposits.
- Completing visitor documentation and escorting approved visitors through limited-access areas in accordance with Ohio Division of Cannabis Control (DCC) regulations.
- Responding to alarms and security incidents while documenting activities through daily shift logs and incident reports.
- Coordinating required notifications to law enforcement, emergency responders, company leadership, and regulatory agencies when appropriate.
- Supporting the secure storage, movement, and protection of cannabis products while maintaining strict compliance with state regulations.
- Assisting the Dispensary Retail Manager with additional operational and security responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of security, loss prevention, law enforcement, military, or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Physical Requirements
- This position requires the ability to:
- Lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently bend, twist, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
- Work in a fast-paced retail environment while remaining alert and attentive throughout the shift.
