Position Summary
As the Pennsylvania (metro Philadelphia) Wholesale Sales Manager, you will act as a high-level individual contributor and team lead, driving revenue growth through the strategic acquisition of new business and the expansion of existing accounts. This role requires a blend of "hunter-mentality" prospecting and sophisticated relationship management. You will serve as a subject matter expert on complex technical and business solutions, operating with a high degree of independence to navigate the full sales lifecycle—including the strategic curation of product offerings for both wholesale and retail environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Pipeline Management:
o Research and profile potential sales targets to evaluate lead quality.
o Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue generation.
o Initiate contact with high-value prospects using proven, professional sales techniques.
- Strategic Assortment Planning & Procurement:
o Manage assortment planning for wholesale customers and one medical dispensary/retail location.
o Optimize product mix by utilizing internal company products and strategically purchasing from third-party vendors to supplement the assortment.
o Analyze market trends to ensure the product selection meets customer demand and maximizes profitability.

- Solution Selling & Presentation:
o Assess unique customer needs and map them to relevant company solutions.
o Develop and deliver high-impact presentations and demonstrations that educate customers and drive the closing process.
o Maintain an expert-level understanding of company offerings, competitor positioning, and evolving industry standards.
- Sales Operations & Troubleshooting:
o Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the sales process to ensure seamless customer experience.
o Manage the transition from lead to closed deal, ensuring all internal and external stakeholders are aligned.
- Leadership & Team Guidance:
o Manage the day-to-day performance of two subordinate staff members, providing coaching and professional development.
o Serve as a Team Lead for the work group, offering guidance on complex technical or business hurdles.
o Champion a safety culture where employees follow safety guidelines and regulations

Qualifications & Skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in wholesale sales, preferably in the cannabis industry or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of the cannabis industry and regulatory landscape.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Existing connections with cannabis retailers in the region preferred.
- Experience with cannabis inventory management systems preferred.
- Knowledge of specific state regulations regarding cannabis sales preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations

Pay Range: $86,400 - $131,300
Insa is a multi-state employer, and this is the company-wide pay range. Offers will be provided in accordance with state-specific minimum wage guidelines.
