Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and energetic Housekeeper to join our assisted living team and ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and guest. This position supports three residential buildings. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas, including residents rooms, public spaces, and service areas. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to an exceptional experience for everyone who enters our facility. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residents rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
- Care for floors by using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment for different surfaces, ensuring they are spotless and well-maintained.
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to promote a safe working environment.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure quick resolution and uphold quality standards.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed.
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in hospitality or industrial settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques specific to hotel environments or large-scale facilities enhances effectiveness in this role.
- Experience with floor care equipment such as buffers or extractors is advantageous.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards related to cleanliness and guest service is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Maintaining a respectful and compassionate presence around residents
- Experience in healthcare, assisted living, or hospitality a plus.
