We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage options.
- Take accurate orders using the POS system, including Aloha POS, and relay them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments using cash registers and ensure accurate handling of transactions.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, for order processing and payment transactions.
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred, especially in fine dining establishments.
- Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create memorable dining experiences.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with sales techniques to promote menu items effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
