We are looking for someone who enjoys working with food, being creative, staying organized, and delivering great customer service. This role combines hands-on gourmet popcorn production with front counter guest interaction and packaging responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Produce gourmet popcorn flavors using commercial popcorn equipment
- Follow recipes, procedures, temperatures, and food safety standards carefully
- Monitor popcorn cooking, coating, cooling, and mixing processes
- Package and label popcorn products for retail displays and customer purchases
- Maintain clean, organized, and stocked workstations
- Assist with bagging, sealing, weighing, and inventory rotation
- Help maintain attractive popcorn and candy displays
- Provide friendly guest service and assist customers at the front counter
- Operate cash register/POS system accurately
- Assist with opening duties
- Wash dishes and assist with kitchen cleanup as needed
- Work efficiently during busy tourist and holiday periods
Ideal Candidate
- Enjoys working with food and creating high-quality products
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable multitasking in both kitchen and customer service environments
- Pays attention to detail and follows recipes consistently
- Able to stay organized and clean in a fast-paced setting
- Works well independently and with a team
- Food service, bakery, candy, kitchen experience preferred
- Able to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
