What You'll Do
Working alongside the Lead Teacher, you'll help create a fun, safe, and engaging classroom where children build confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love of learning.
Your responsibilities include:
- Support daily classroom routines and learning activities
- Create a positive, welcoming, and nurturing classroom environment
- Engage children through storytelling, music, movement, art, educational games, and hands-on learning
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Help children build independence, confidence, and problem-solving skills
- Assist with snack time, nap time, outdoor play, and daily classroom routines
- Supervise children to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Communicate children's progress and daily experiences with families
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to provide high-quality early childhood education
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Passion for working with young children
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Patient, dependable, and caring
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to guide children through social interactions and conflict resolution
- Previous childcare or preschool experience is preferred but not required
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
