Job Description: As an experienced fence installer, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fence types, including wood, vinyl, chain-link, and ornamental iron, at residential, commercial and industrial properties. You will work closely with our project managers to ensure that each installation meets company standards, safety guidelines, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair fences of various materials (wood, vinyl, chain-link, wrought iron, access control etc.).
- Measure and cut materials accurately to fit project specifications.
- Ensure all installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Maintain and operate installation tools and equipment safely.
- Work with a team to complete projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with customers to address questions and ensure satisfaction.
- Follow all safety protocols and comply with industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in fence installation.
- Strong knowledge of different fence types and materials.
- Familiar with high security fencing, access control and guardrails.
- Ability to read grade stakes.
- Ability to identify property lines, property pins and stakes.
- Ability to read blueprints, instructions, and follow project specifications.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and lifting heavy materials.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools (e.g., post hole diggers, saws, drills).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, if needed. Job is typically M-F, 7:30AM-4:30PM
