Nuestro Mundo Community School is seeking a compassionate and proactive School Social Worker to support the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of our students. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing counseling and intervention services and will be comfortable responding to behavior calls and supporting staff in managing challenging situations.Responsibilities include: Providing individual and small-group social-emotional support to studentsResponding to behavior calls and assisting with de-escalation and student supportCollaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well-beingAssisting in the development and implementation of behavior support plansConnecting families with community resources and servicesSupporting a positive and inclusive school climateQualifications: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or related fieldSchool social work license or eligibility preferredExperience working with children in a school settingStrong behavior management and de-escalation skillsBilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
