Steel Erection Foreman - Greater Austin Area

Pay: $40.00-$45.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Central Texas Steel Erectors is seeking an experienced Steel Erection Foreman to lead commercial structural steel projects throughout the Greater Austin area. We are looking for a motivated leader with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a proven background in managing steel erection crews safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead steel erection crews on commercial construction projects.
- Coordinate daily activities to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Read and interpret structural steel drawings and erection plans.
- Maintain a safe, productive, and organized jobsite.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, crane operators, and subcontractors.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
- Monitor quality, productivity, and workmanship throughout the project.
Requirements
- Must have verifiable experience as a Steel Erection Foreman.
- Extensive experience in commercial structural steel erection is required.
- Ability to read and interpret structural steel plans and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and steel erection practices.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must reside in the Greater Austin area. Local candidates only.
