POSITION: Technology Aide
QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years of postsecondary study, or an Associate’s degree (or higher) preferred

Demonstrated technical and operational mastery of PCs, Mac’s, Chromebooks, tablets and associated peripherals including projectors, printers, media players (Apple TV), and interactive whiteboards.

Must be able to perform system administrator functions for user account maintenance in Active Directory, Google Workspace for Education, and other systems as needed.

Must have professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills including one-on-one and classroom instruction.
REPORTS TO: District Technology Director / Building Principal
JOB GOAL: To enhance student learning Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) literacy skills by assisting in the integration of technology in the classroom, including configuration, installation and instructional support.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support students and staff during assessments such as NWEA, SAS, etc.

Create instructional documentation and provide group and one-on-one instruction to assist faculty/staff with learning systems (i.e. PowerSchool, Performance Plus, Aimsweb, NWEA, SAS, etc.)

Perform Software Installations (applications, iPads and Windows Updates) as instructed by building technician

Configure and set up Chromebooks, PCs and tablet devices

Provide assistance, basic diagnostic, and remediation of technology issues., i.e., Login issues, printing issues, connectivity, etc., Escalate more advanced or configuration issues to school technician

Assist teachers with technology integration including support with the use of interactive whiteboards, projectors, Apple TVs, document cameras, etc.

Provide opportunities for instruction and learning enhancement using devices such as tablets, Chromebooks and associated applications

Support multimedia equipment in classrooms and presentation venues such as the gym or cafeteria

Perform duties of Webmaster for the school’s website

Perform other duties as assigned

Support IT staff with purchase order requisitions

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with the provisions of the negotiated contract between the Conway School Board and the Conway Educational Support Personnel.
WORK YEAR: 200 days / extended school year position
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the CESP contract. The building principal and/or administrative designee will be the evaluator.
