Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient service, and clinical procedures. .
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment availability.
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
- Administer basic life support as needed and assist in emergency situations.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up communications.
- Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans and medications.
- Maintain accurate patient records within electronic health systems.
- Support procedures by preparing necessary tools and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient care services.
Requirements
- Knowledge of anatomy, medical-surgical procedures, and geriatrics is preferred.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with basic life support techniques is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, particularly in emergency medicine settings.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training is preferred but not mandatory.
