Job Description:
Sigma Stretch Film is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bilingual Safety Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This role is focused on supporting, documenting, and coordinating safety initiatives to ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations. The Safety Administrative Coordinator will manage reporting, recordkeeping, scheduling, and communication functions that support a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Program Support
- Assist in planning, organizing, and maintaining the company’s Safety Program.
- Provide administrative support for safety audits, inspections, and job safety analyses.
- Maintain accurate records of safety training, certifications, and incident reports.
- Post and track safety bulletins, memos, and policy updates.
Training & Communication
- Schedule and track employee participation in safety trainings.
- Prepare training materials, sign-in sheets, and maintain training databases.
- Translate and distribute safety materials in English and Spanish to ensure accessibility.
Incident & Compliance Reporting
- Process and file incident/accident reports and ensure follow-up documentation is completed.
- Assist in compiling data for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Track compliance with OSHA requirements and internal policies.
Safety Committee & Culture
- Coordinate safety committee meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up actions.
- Support employee safety recognition programs.
- Help promote engagement with safety culture through communication and administrative follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); database management a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Prior experience in a safety, HR, or administrative role in manufacturing preferred.
