The Country Club of Louisiana is seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner/Busser to join our food and beverage team. This role is essential in providing exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests by ensuring seamless service, maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, and supporting the service staff in delivering high-quality hospitality.
Food Delivery: Promptly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to special requests.
Table Maintenance: Clear and reset tables efficiently, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils while maintaining a polished and professional appearance in the dining areas.
Dining Room Support: Assist servers by refilling water, delivering condiments, and responding to guest needs in a courteous and timely manner.
Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and service stations, and ensuring floors are free of debris.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
Guest Interaction: Engage with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, upholding the Country Club’s commitment to exceptional hospitality.
Event Support: Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events, banquets, and private functions as needed.
Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and cleanliness standards.
Experience: Previous experience as a food runner, busser, or in a similar role in a restaurant or country club setting is preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks such as carrying trays and clearing tables.
Professionalism: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Availability: Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the club’s dining and event schedule.
