Family Assistant / Household Manager (Part-Time)
We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Family Assistant to help keep our household running smoothly as we transition to a new family routine.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, planning ahead, and helping a busy professional parent manage the day-to-day logistics of family life. While there will be some interaction with the (2) children, the primary focus is on household support and family organization rather than full-time childcare.
Expected Start: Approximately 6 weeks from now
Typical Responsibilities
- School pickup and transportation to after-school activities on scheduled custody days
- Help coordinate the family’s calendar and weekly schedule
- Grocery shopping and keeping household essentials stocked
- Meal planning and light meal preparation for family dinners
- Running errands (pharmacy, returns, dry cleaning, etc.)
- Helping keep the kitchen and common areas tidy after meals and activities
- Coordinating appointments and helping manage family logistics as needed
- Occasional support with school forms, activity registrations, or other household administrative tasks
Schedule
The position will primarily support the household on:
- Mondays
- Tuesdays
- Every other weekend
Additional hours may occasionally be available depending on the family’s schedule. Exact hours can be discussed with the right candidate.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Organized and dependable
- Proactive and able to anticipate needs
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Warm, professional, and confident working with school-aged children
- A safe, licensed driver with a reliable vehicle and clean driving record
- Comfortable maintaining confidentiality and respecting family privacy
Previous experience as a Family Assistant, Household Manager, Nanny/Family Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role is a plus.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
