Premiere Petsitting and Dog Walking RVA has been providing trusted in-home pet care to Richmond families for over 25 years. We’re seeking experienced, caring, dependable, and motivated Pet Sitters to join our team as self-employed 1099 contractors in the Brandermill area, extending to Stony Point and Tarrington. Overnight availability

Responsibilities
- Visit clients’ homes to care for pets (dogs, cats, and small animals)
- Walk dogs, play with pets, feed, refresh water, and clean up after them
- Provide overnight or vacation care when needed
- Communicate with pet owners about routines, updates, and any concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe environment in clients’ homes
- Handle pets safely using proper techniques and equipment (leashes, harnesses, etc.)
- Provide reliable, friendly service that builds trust and long-term relationships
Requirements
- Love of, and experience handling dogs and cats, availability to care for other breeds
- Access to a reliable vehicle and an identified, dependable backup plan
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule (morning or evening)
- Availability for Thanksgiving weekend and/or Christmas Eve & Day
- Availability at least two weekends a month
- Availability for overnights is a plus
- Must live in or near zip codes 23112, 23113, 23114, 23235, 23225
- Minimum age: 18 years
Schedule
Flexible —Contract Basis- number of visits and hours vary by client needs.
Opportunities include a mixture of the following:
- Daily dog walks
- Vacation/travel visits (morning, midday, evening)
- Overnight house sitting (10 hour, 12 hour or 24 hour stays)
