We are seeking a dynamic and passionate 4th Grade Teacher to join our dedicated team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with gifted and high achieving learners, develop enriching curricula, and implement innovative teaching strategies that challenge and inspire students. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and expertise in differentiating instruction for advanced learners while supporting their social-emotional growth. Duties
- Design and deliver differentiated lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of gifted 4th-grade students, incorporating curriculum development principles and learning technology tools.
- Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and independent exploration through engaging activities.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and a respectful learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing methods, formative assessments, and performance-based evaluations; provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Mentor and support students’ social-emotional development while nurturing their curiosity in subjects such as literacy education, math, library services, and science.
- Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in grades 4-6.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and community partners.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools used for lesson planning and student assessment.
- Certification or licensure in elementary education or equivalent
Pay: $49,803.96 - $69,978.96 per year
