Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate specializing in Pick, Pack, and Ship operations! Responsibilities
- Use barcode scanning systems and RF scanners for accurate order picking, inventory tracking, and order fulfillment.
- Select products precisely according to order specifications using order picker equipment and manual techniques.
- Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe transit and delivery.
- Prepare shipments by labeling packages correctly, managing shipping documentation, and coordinating with carriers for timely pickup.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular stock counts to support inventory management systems.
- Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Follow safety protocols diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to heavy equipment operation guidelines, and practicing manual handling techniques to prevent injuries.
- Assist with receiving inbound shipments by unloading trucks with heavy equipment and verifying incoming goods against purchase orders.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas, stocking shelves efficiently, and ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on daily operations to optimize workflow and improve overall warehouse efficiency.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while following proper safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, stock replenishment, and quality control procedures preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, RF scanners, and inventory management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to safety practices including PPE use and adherence to safety guidelines during heavy equipment operation.
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar heavy machinery is preferred.
