Are you an organized, forward-thinking craftsman who wants to focus on shop production without the headaches of field installs or constant deliveries? We build high-end custom cabinetry where quality, technology, and continuous improvement drive everything we do. We are seeking a versatile shop professional who is as comfortable at the bench as they are setting up a CNC, mastering new European hardware systems, or working through innovative sheet materials.
This is a long-term home, not a stepping stone—we build a low-turnover environment where people stay, thrive, and retire.
If you rely on shortcuts, resist modern hardware/tech, or dislike learning new shop processes, this will not be the right fit.
What You’ll Do
- 100% Shop Production: Focus strictly on fabrication, sub-assemblies, and final builds. No job-site installs and minimal-to-no delivery driving.
- Bench & Machining: Build high-end cabinets and components while managing CNC setup, light programming, cut-list optimization, and machine maintenance.
- Modern Components: Work with evolving sheet goods, solid surfaces, and complex European hardware (Blum, Hafele, Grass, Salice) with millimeter precision.
- Continuous Improvement: Follow and write SOPs, streamline shop layout, and bring fresh ideas to the table to optimize manufacturing steps.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ Years in Custom Cabinetry: Strong background in bench fabrication, fine joinery, and shop machinery.
- Hardware & Tech Fluency: Experience with complex European hardware systems, machinery setup, and CNC operation or CAD/CAM light programming.
- Blueprint & Math Accuracy: Flawless ability to read shop drawings, calculate cut lists, and work interchangeably in standard fractions (1/32") and metric measurements.
Essential Qualities (Who You Are)
- Organized & Thoughtful: You plan your assembly steps ahead, maintain an immaculate bench, and prioritize efficiency.
- Adaptable Learner: You embrace new material lines, evolving hardware technology, and updated shop software.
- Process-Minded Team Player: You look for ways to eliminate waste, communicate clearly, and enjoy contributing to SOPs that help the entire crew win.
Why Build Your Career Here?
- A Voice in the Process: You are a respected team member with a real seat at the table to suggest improvements, upgrade tools, and shape shop workflows.
- Top Pay & Full Benefits: Above-market pay ($25–$35/hr based on skill), comprehensive health coverage, retirement matching, and generous paid time off.
- Great Hours & Stability: Clean schedule, regular daylight hours, no weekend install emergencies, and a stable, low-turnover environment where craftsman retire.
