Duties
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues and implement control system repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Support field service operations by traveling to various sites for troubleshooting or installation projects when required.
Requirements
- Valid driver license with a good driving record
- Some mechanical knowledge
Good Skills to have but not required
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks, including working with high voltage systems safely.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and control system diagrams.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting purposes.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly and accurately.
- Effective customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in English.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electricians
- Military background is highly desirable.
