We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mover/Packer to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Safely load and unload items using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary
- Pack belongings securely using packing materials to prevent damage during transit
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture or equipment as needed for efficient transport
- Assist with route driving for delivery or pickup tasks, adhering to scheduled timelines and safety protocols
- Maintain organization of moving supplies and packing materials in the warehouse or staging areas
- Load items onto trucks (including box trucks or similar vehicles) and secure loads properly for transportation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moves and deliveries while providing excellent customer service throughout the process
Skills
- Prior experience in moving, packing, or warehouse operations is highly preferred
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy items repeatedly and safely
- Knowledge of commercial driving, including operating box trucks or vehicles with manual transmissions
- Experience with load & unload procedures, route driving, and delivery driver responsibilities
- Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during moves or deliveries
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently while handling heavy lifting tasks and operating vehicles
