Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing quality patient care in various settings, including long-term care and geriatrics. As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients' health and well-being, working under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations to assess patient health.
- Perform triage assessments to prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Assist with catheter care and sterile processing of medical equipment.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Administer injections and other medical procedures as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or critical care preferred.
- Proficiency in triage, catheter care, sterile processing, and administering injections.
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and conducting physical examinations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
