Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping experience, including answering questions about merchandise.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely, including cash handling and credit card payments.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform opening and/or closing duties.
Skills
- Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments with strong cashiering skills preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions.
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers.
- Strong merchandising skills for organizing displays and stocking shelves efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling cash registers, calculating totals, discounts, and change accurately.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and customer service best practices to create positive interactions.
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
