Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in person, providing exceptional service and product knowledge to meet their needs
- Promote and upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain a thorough understanding of pricing structures, promotions, and product features
- Conduct route driving to efficiently visit clients or retail locations while adhering to safety regulations
- Assist with merchandising efforts to ensure displays are attractive and well-stocked
- Handle heavy lifting of products and supplies as needed for inventory management and setup
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to clearly convey product benefits and answer customer questions
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and the ability to apply them effectively in sales conversations
- Experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred for efficient customer visits
- Solid math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and totals accurately
- Proven ability in upselling techniques to increase sales volume and customer satisfaction
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Effective communication skills for engaging diverse audiences and building rapport
- Organizational skills necessary for managing routes, inventory, and merchandising tasks
- Physical capability for heavy lifting required during product handling and setup
- Background in military service is a plus, demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and reliability
