Job Title: Fuel Station Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION :
As a primary contact for Safeway customers, the Fuel Station Manager provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. Trains, supervises, schedules, and assigns duties to Fuel Station Clerks. Follows division guidelines for the implementation of merchandising programs. Operates computerized cash register, itemizes and totals customers purchases in the fuel station. Receives cash, check or charge payment from customer and makes change for transactions and redeems promotional coupons. Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock and inventory in the Fuel Station area. Picks ups merchandise for sale and supplies from grocery store as needed. Responsible for overall management of the Fuel Station.
JOB DUTIES :
Safeway Fuel Station Manager employees are generally responsible for completing the following job duties:
Assists in the planning, development, and implementation of policies for operating Fuel Stations, such as hours of operation, workers required and their duties, and scope of operations.

Union and Non-Union: “The pay range is $28.15 to $28.15 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).”
