Job Description
FINISHER I
Reports to: Finishing Foreman, Finisher III (Leader)
Typical Shop Hours: 6am - 2:30pm (may vary at the discretion of Managers)
Typical Site Hours: 7am - 3:30pm (may vary at the discretion of Managers)
Job Responsibilities:
- Finishes high-end custom cabinets, millwork, metalwork, and furniture in the shop and on job sites
- Preps wood using sanders, wire brushes, and by hand
- Applies stains, paints, clear coats by hand, brushing, rolling, or spraying
- Cleans the job site or shop at the end of the day
- Protects and handles completed work
- Helps load and unload the delivery truck
- Follows and helps enforce safe working practices
- Supervises the work of others as needed
- Any other related tasks that the Managers or Foremen may assign
Job Requirements:
- 4 years + experience as a cabinet or fine woodwork finisher
- HVLP spray finishing experience is a plus
- Finished construction site finishing experience is a plus
- Metal finishing experience is a plus (patina, paint, etc)
- Able to sit or stand long periods while on the job
- Able to use a personal phone for email, text, calls and navigation during work hours
- Able to lift 50 lbs safely
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
