We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barback to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service. As a Barback, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by providing high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Compensation
Barback starting pay is $12 per hour plus tips
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the Toast POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations while serving drinks.
- Collaborate with all staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent cash handling skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling safety practices is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
