Responsibilities
- Use ladders and scaffolding safely to access ductwork in various building heights and configurations
- Perform thorough cleaning of air ducts using industrial cleaning equipment, pressure washers, and hand tools
- Handle manual tasks such as removing debris, dust, mold, and other contaminants from duct systems
- Apply safety protocols diligently by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, and following established procedures
- Operate cleaning equipment efficiently to ensure optimal results while minimizing disruption to clients’ spaces
- Conduct outdoor inspections of ventilation systems and perform heavy lifting when necessary to move equipment or materials
- Maintain detailed records of each job including before-and-after photos, service reports, and safety checklists
Experience
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, pressure washing equipment, and cleaning machinery preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work safely at heights using ladders or scaffolding
- Experience with outdoor work settings and manual handling tasks is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about services performed
- Knowledge of safety protocols including proper PPE usage, fire extinguisher operation, and hazard awareness
