Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Kansas
Job Summary
CK Medical Staffing is a nurse-owned healthcare staffing agency connecting highly qualified Registered Nurses with travel assignments throughout Kansas.
We're looking for experienced RNs who are passionate about patient care and ready for their next assignment. Whether your background is in ICU, Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery, Med Surg, Telemetry, Progressive Care, Operating Room, PACU, or another acute care specialty, we'd love to connect with you.
At CK Medical Staffing, you'll work with one dedicated recruiter who will guide you from your initial application through the completion of your assignment. We believe in honest communication, personalized support, and building long-term relationships with our clinicians.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Follow all facility policies, safety standards, and infection prevention protocols.
- Adapt quickly to new healthcare environments while maintaining excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of one year of recent acute care experience (specialty requirements may vary by assignment).
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or specialty certifications as required by individual assignments.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
