Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking a Project / Program Manager III to support a client’s new product development initiatives within the diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry. This role is responsible for leading complex projects and programs, ensuring alignment across teams, and driving successful delivery through structured planning, risk management, and collaboration. The ideal candidate thrives in regulated environments and brings a strong balance of strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement project, program, and product management frameworks for new product development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including timelines, dependencies, resources, and budgets.
- Ensure high-quality execution through effective planning, risk management, critical path analysis, and scenario planning.
- Oversee project governance processes, including milestone reviews, capacity planning, and performance tracking.
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.
- Apply appropriate project methodologies, including hybrid Agile approaches, based on project needs.
- Coach and guide teams on Agile practices in collaboration with project and program leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project/program data and provide insights on planning, risks, and delivery strategies.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks, evaluate impact, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strong team dynamics across departments and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in science, engineering, business, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of project and/or program management experience within diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or biotech industries.
- Experience leading complex new product development and product lifecycle projects.
- 1–3 years of experience in clinical biomarker development, in vitro diagnostics, analytical/clinical validation, regulatory submissions, or instrument development.
- 1–3 years of experience working in regulated environments (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, ISO 9001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of design control, phased development processes, and healthcare quality and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency with tools such as Planisware, MS Office, Google Suite, Trello, Lucidchart, Smartsheet, Jira, and ADO.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- PMP and/or SAFe certification.
