Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments through POS or cashiering systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Respond to guest inquiries professionally, ensuring a positive guest relations experience
- Follow all sanitation and food handling procedures to ensure food safety and quality
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Experience with upselling techniques and guest service excellence is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Prior host/host or bussing experience is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends as needed
