Orthopedic Trauma RN | Acute Care Hospital

We’re seeking an experienced Orthopedic Trauma Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care for patients recovering from orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and elective orthopedic procedures.

Schedule:
36 or 48 hours per week
Day/Evening/Night shifts available
Weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation required based on unit needs
What You’ll Do:
Deliver high-quality nursing care for orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and post-surgical orthopedic patients
Monitor patient conditions, telemetry readings, pain management, and recovery progress
Collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Perform patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families regarding recovery, mobility, and discharge planning
Respond effectively in high-acuity and fast-paced clinical situations
What You’ll Bring:
Active New York RN License required
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
Orthopedic nursing experience required
Telemetry experience required
BLS certification through AHA required
ACLS certification through AHA required
Level 1 trauma experience preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment
