Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid meal break. Because we're a small team, candidates must be available to work this set schedule. Occasional Tuesday overtime may be available for monthly inventory.
What You’ll Be Doing - Essential Duties:
- Creating a welcoming, clean, and visually appealing farm stand
- Keeping shelves and displays fully stocked, labeled, and refreshed throughout the day
- Staying up to date on new and seasonal farm stand offerings so you can confidently share them with guests
- Receiving and processing inventory with a high level of accuracy—ensuring stock counts are correct and products are ready for display
- Learning and consistently following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality and consistency in service and operations
- Serving coffee, drinks, and farm-fresh food with care
- Staying on top of tidiness—wiping, sweeping, organizing, and resetting as needed
- Operating the point-of-sale system (Square) with accuracy
- Handling cash with precision and following proper protocols
- Answering guest questions and sharing the story behind our products and the farm
- Supporting team sales goals while maintaining a polished, inviting environment

- Have at least 1 year of retail experience - bonus if you’ve worked in a farmstand, grocery or specialty food store
- Are detail-oriented and take pride in a well-kept space
- Are comfortable with inventory receiving and understand the importance of tracking product accurately
- Can quickly learn new systems and follow procedures with consistency
- Enjoy organizing and restocking as much as interacting with guests
- Have strong communication and customer service skills
- Can stay focused and upbeat in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

- Interest in sustainable agriculture or local food systems
Physical and environmental requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a non-climate-controlled environment (our store has large garage style doors that remain open during business hours, regardless of outdoor weather conditions)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously for extended periods
Applicants must be 18 or older due to the physical nature of the role, work environment, and scheduling needs.
Certifications Needed:
- WA Food Handler Permit - must have or be able to obtain within 14 days of start date
