Warehouse Driver Associate
Wage: $20.00 - $22.00/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Weekend work may be required based on business needs.
Atlas Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Driver Associate to support warehouse operations and customer deliveries. This position is responsible for receiving inbound freight, stocking inventory, loading and unloading materials, and delivering products to customer job sites safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, a clean driving record, and enjoys a combination of warehouse and driving responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities
- Deliver products and materials to customer job sites in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload merchandise for deliveries.
- Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments for accuracy.
- Unload freight trucks and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and required DOT records.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional driving experience.
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record for the past three years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) required.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience preferred.
- Forklift certification (sit-down forklift) preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes efficiently.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Frequently bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and reach.
- Sit and drive for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Safely operate vehicles in varying weather and traffic conditions.
- Maintain constant awareness of surroundings while operating vehicles and equipment.
Work Environment
- Warehouse and customer job site environment.
- Frequent loading, unloading, and material handling.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.
- This position is designated as a Safety-Sensitive role and requires adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
