Barney's Bakery Inc. is hiring a full-time Packaging Crew Member to work with our afternoon packaging crew. This job primarily entails packaging and boxing Pepperoni Rolls and Holiday Nut Rolls, as well as general cleaning. Employees are on their feet for most of their shift, and must have the ability to lift 15-25lbs.
The Packaging Crew works together as a team. All packaging crew members prepare and sanitize the packaging area before interacting with product, as well as sanitize the packaging at the end of the day.
Afternoon schedule is generally 5 days a week, 8 hours a day (1PM-9PM) but may end early/go overtime depending on daily needs. During holiday seasons of Thanksgiving and Christmas, we may offer a sixth day for overtime to help meet our order requirements.
Working days are Sunday and Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
New employees are required to pass a drug-screen and background check.
Personal transportation to and from work is required.

General Responsibilities include:
- General food manufacturing/packaging practices compliant with FDA regulations and third-party auditors.
- General safety practices in a food manufacturing setting.
- Packaging of all products made each work day.
- Compliance with hygiene directives and regulations.
- Sterilizing workspace when switching between potential food allergens.
- Sterilizing workspace at the beginning and end of shift.
- Lifting trays weighing 15-25lbs at a time.
